Useless at watering plants? There’s an app for that.
The Koubachi Wi-Fi plant sensor seems to cater for quite a specific market - wealthy and inept gardeners.
The sensor measures moisture, light intensity and temperature, and uses built in Wi-Fi to transmit analysis to an iPhone or Web app to alert the user to the plants needs.
The sensor costs a huge €122 (US$153) but the makers point out that once you’ve used it for a while on one plant and established a ‘care plan’ it can be transferred to another troubled plant. If you can’t spare the Euros for the sensor you could still download the app here to get some helpful watering tips. Or you could just water your plants every now and then like a normal person.
I love how technology is growing exponentially and the creativity of our inventors but sometimes I wonder… really?
(I suppose it’s difficult to understand the necessity/use of this considering I am the complete opposite of a green thumb. #noshame)

Packaging, illustration and Brand Design for Savon du Midi.
The packaging is made with recycled and recyclable natural products like kraft paper for the box and printed with ecological ink, using only black colour. Each variety of soap has a different handmade illustration related with the natural ingredients of the soap.
Savon du Midi is made with shea butter and certified organic vegetable oils. The fine blending of these oils creates its unique quality. None of them contain animal fat. The soap ais manufactured in small factories with the knowledge handed down from generation to generation in Provence (France).
The brand has the intention to transmit the simplicity of an organic product in order to highlight the natural qualities of the soap.
I love my memes but this still makes me laugh because… it’s kinda true.
